Rotate PDF

Adding one file opens a thumbnail grid that shows the current orientation of every PDF page. Page labels follow the PDF positions in the file, which may differ from printed numbers shown inside a scan. Inspect the complete grid before changing anything so covers, landscape tables, photos, and upside-down sheets are easy to identify.

Each thumbnail has Rotate left and Rotate right controls. One click makes a quarter turn, a second reaches 180 degrees, and a third reaches 270 degrees. The editor adds the new turn to any orientation already recorded on that page. Use the thumbnail itself to select pages, or open Select to choose all pages, clear or invert a selection, or apply a range such as 1-3, 8.

The toolbar turns selected pages together. When nothing is selected, the same action applies to every page in the file. Undo and Redo record the rotation changes, so you can compare alternatives without changing the source PDF on disk.

Select Rotate PDF when the thumbnails look correct. Frisqoo builds a separate output, starts the download, and keeps the current result in the completed panel for another download if needed.

The single-file editor is the right path when pages need different corrections. You can rotate PDF single page errors one at a time, turn a range together, leave upright pages unchanged, and review the result before saving. The controls suit scans where a cover is upright, a wide table is landscape, and one attachment arrived upside down.

Selection applies only to toolbar actions. The small controls on a thumbnail always affect that page directly. If a range includes the wrong pages, clear the selection or use Undo before continuing.

Add two or more files together to enter batch mode instead of the page editor. Choose Rotate right 90°, Upside down 180°, or Rotate left 90°, then start the batch. The chosen angle is added to every page of every file. Batch mode does not provide different page-level settings within each document; use the single-file editor for that job.

Each successful result uses its source base name plus -rotated.pdf. You can download files separately or download the completed set as frisqoo_rotated.zip. A problem with one input is reported on that file rather than changing the settings selected for the other results.

Use a 90-degree clockwise turn for a page lying on its left side, or a 90-degree counter-clockwise turn for a page lying on its right side. A 180-degree turn fixes an upside-down page. Repeating either page control cycles through the same orientations, so a mistaken turn can be corrected without starting again.

The batch labels describe the final added angle clearly: right 90 degrees, upside down 180 degrees, or left 90 degrees. Existing page rotation is preserved as the starting point, then the selected change is added.

The PDF is opened, previewed, rotated, and saved locally in the browser. Frisqoo does not upload the source file for this operation. You can rotate PDF online through the web page while keeping the processing on the device.

Local processing uses device memory. A long scan with large images can take more time to preview and save than a short text PDF, especially on a phone. Keep the editor tab open until the download finishes. If a large file strains the device, close other memory-heavy tabs and try the job again.

In the single-file editor, Frisqoo copies the page content into a new PDF and applies the displayed rotations. The workbench also handles document-level features that are not stored directly on a page:

• Text remains selectable, and source images are not deliberately rasterized or recompressed.
• Web links on the copied pages remain available with the page content.
• Bookmarks are rebuilt and remapped to the copied pages.
• Fillable form fields are rebuilt, including values shown in retained fields.
• Available title, author, subject, and keyword metadata is copied to the result.
• Digital signature fields are dropped from the single-file output because the earlier cryptographic coverage cannot validate after the document changes.

Batch rotation adjusts the page rotations within each document and saves the changed file. Any existing digital signature should be treated as invalid after a save. Open important results in a PDF reader and check orientation, links, bookmarks, and form values before replacing or sharing an earlier version.

A PDF that requires an open password can be rotated when you know that password. The inline prompt appears before the source is processed. Enter the password and choose Unlock; the password is used locally for this operation.

The rotated output is not automatically protected with the same password. If the corrected file must require a password to open, download it first and then use Protect PDF on the new result.

To rotate PDF permanently, download the generated file and open that result in a PDF reader. The saved page rotation tells compatible readers how to display each page. The original PDF remains unchanged, so keep it until the corrected download has been reviewed.

Check the first and last pages, any landscape content, and every page that was selected as a range. For a form or linked document, test a representative field and link. If the file had a signature, plan to complete the signing step again after rotation.

The same single-file workflow is available in current mobile browsers. Choose a PDF from device storage, wait for thumbnails, tap a page to select it, and use the rotation controls. Page labels help when the grid wraps across several rows on a small screen.

For long image-heavy files, close other tabs before saving to leave more memory available. The downloaded result uses the device's normal browser download location.

• Preparing a corrected copy before organizing, cropping, compressing, or signing it.
